MEET the Owner
Hello! My name is Travis Abbott, and I own and operate Abbott Electrical Contractors based in North Billerica, MA.
My interest in fixing things started when I was just a kid. I’d often be found in my parents’ basement taking apart old toys and using the electronics for one of my many “projects.”
My craftsmanship journey started when I was just thirteen, working summers for my father’s general contracting business doing all aspects of construction.
Through this experience, I gained a connection to electrical work, and got inspired to go to school to start a career in electrical and fire alarm systems. The more I worked and learned, the more passionate I grew about all things electrical. I feel very lucky to have found a career that I love, and I enjoy interacting with all of my clients and connections along the way.
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing music, watching the Bruins, and working on vehicles. I also build custom hand-wired tube guitar amps for friends when time allows.
